RD stands for Rive Droite - referencing the Right Bank red blends from Bordeaux. Ours is 45% Cab Franc, 40% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. It's fruit forward with violets and dark cherry on the nose, cherry and black fruit at the base, and a very plush center highlighted by exotic spices. The tannins are polished and present, without being overpowering. The Merlot creates a wide and rich mid palate, leading to a lingering finish.
